Bandstop Filters
Also known as a band-reject filter or notch filter, band stop filters perform the opposite function of a bandpass filter. Instead of allowing a specific band of frequencies to pass through, it attenuates (or rejects) frequencies within a defined range, while allowing frequencies outside of that range (both lower and higher) to pass through with minimal attenuation.
